    •When over head chat is turned off, regular speech from a GM was not displaying over the GM’s head.
    •New non template gargoyles will not see a selection to start in Britain even through they were starting in TerMur.
    •Fixed an issue with the legacy client using the EquipLastWeapon when switching from a conventional weapon to a throwing weapon

    •Fixed an issue with Personal Attendant dupes
    •Special leather bonuses should no longer apply to cloth armor
    •Both facings of glass swords can now be used as ingredients for crushed glass
    •Spinning Wheels should no longer get stuck in use. Players should be able to deed them without any issues.
    •Fixed an issue with Scroll Binders, Alchemy scrolls will no longer be shown as Anatomy scrolls when bound.
    •Removed Trap scrolls placed in binders having a TID error
    •Fixed an issue with players having SA entitled pets in their stables without the entitlement on their accounts
    •Clothing bless deeds can now be used on Gargish Robes
    •Added Gargoyle furniture to the dyable list for furniture dye tubs
    •Players can no longer tame the temporary summoned Raptors
    •Fixed an issue with Vet Reward Statues coming to live when attacked
    •Fixed an issue with Medusa petrifying your pets and the pet losing their original hues.
    •Slasher will no longer use the fear effect on ghosts
    •Giger no longer hates Neville, therefore he can talk by without taking cannon damage.
    •Candle of Love will no longer stack.
    •New gargoyle books have been updated to be included with the inscription skill
    •Fixed an issue with seams in Ruin Walls
    •Mud Puppies and Red Herring deeds should redeed correctly now.
    •Fixed an issue with Navrey spawning in locations players can not reach
    •Gargish furniture will actually be two lock downs. Players will be able to put items on each side. You will only have to lock down/secure one side for both sides to lock/secure
    •Fixed an issue with Guilds dropping their guild leaders. The guild system will now appoint a new leader if the original one is dropped.
    •Niporailem will now switch targets properly if the original target is unavailable
    •Faction guilds can no longer be in an alliance with non faction guilds.
    •Fixed an issue with SA cave entrances blocking caves in legacy.
    •Fixed an exploit where players were getting multiple puzzle boxes. Puzzle boxes will now delete themselves when placed on the floor and someone tries to pick it up.
    •The treasure/sand will no longer be blessed, it will fall to the players corpse
    •Fixed an issue with the wizard hat twitching while sitting
    •Fixed an issue with Fishing poles being destroyed
    •Fixed an issue with players being teleported into the ground at the Primevil Lich champ spawn
    •Fixed an issue with players not being able to buy from Gargoyle Vendors
    •Players will no longer get the “no container” message when trying to get the pet food they do not want.
    •Tasty Treats will no longer stack
    •Fixed an issue with Treasure sand being statics when dropped.
    •Iron Beetle no longer requires taming to control (still needs SA entitlement)
    •Gargoyle Race change tokens are now blessed
    •Fixed an issue with the Experimental Gem in the Puzzle room
    •Fixed an issue with the Abyssal Infernal’s special condemnation attack causing players to become stuck
    •Fixed an issue with the Despise bridge causing Line of Sight issues
    •Casting while holding a weapon will no longer damage the weapon.
    •Damage rate of weapons have been adjusted.
    •Players who log out in the lamp room or trap maze puzzle room, will be teleported to a different location at log in.
    •The 3.0 SoT reward from the trap maze puzzle has temporarily been replaced by a Lucky Coin.

    The statues would have been fun to play with! Too bad I didn't know to try it.

    3.0 SOT's replaced with lucky coins... way to go cheaters! You're ruining the game for everyone.:twak:

    I'm assuming that's just bad wording, and there's probably an exploit where you can trade somebody an item, then unravel it somehow.

    That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

    Who wrote this stuff, a second grader? Does this mean weapons will lose durability faster or slower than they do currently or does this mean weapons will deal a different amount of damage?

    Based off of the complaints I've heard, it's the durability loss that's been adjusted.

    Also, a second grader wouldn't have called durability loss the damage rate. Give them (the 2nd graders) some credit.

    I dunno. Why was Louis Riel hung for treason, and then given his own Canadian holiday?

    The moon's more of a planet than Pluto was, that's an argument of classification, not lack of intelligence.

    How does the moon keep from falling into the sun then?

    And why does the moon always seem the same size as we get further away from it?

    Anyone else get a chuckle out of this:

    So...things that are showing "properly" are now considered bugs, and must be fixed? I know we joke about being so used to broken stuff in UO that when something goes right it must be unintended, but I didn't know the devs thought the same way. :D

    The reason the moon doesn't continue out into the universe is that the Earth exerts a pull on the moon, which keeps it orbiting the Earth. Since the Earth is so big compared to the moon, it pulls the moon toward it. In a sense, the moon is falling towards the Earth, but since the moon is also moving forwards, it ends up going around and around the Earth.

    It doesn't. In fact...

    We know that this phenomenon is not a physical or atmospheric effect, as may be easily demonstrated by photographing the moon in the sky at various elevations and comparing its size on the negatives. The moon's angular size is nearly constant as it moves across the sky, the moon subtending about 0.5 degree in the sky. One may also verify this with sighting instruments.

    The moon does vary in angular size due to the eccentricity of its orbit. When the moon is closest to earth its angular size is about 11% larger than when it is most distant. The moon illusion describes the variation of apparent size during a much shorter time period of a few hours between its maximum elevation in the sky and its rising and setting.
    Another real physical effect causes the angular size of the moon's image on the retina to be about 2% smaller when the moon is near the horizon, compared to its size near the zenith. This is due to the fact that the moon is one earth radius farther away when observed on the horizon. This size change from zenith to horizon is much smaller, and in the opposite sense to the moon illusion. A change of such a small amount is not large enough to be noticed with our unaided visual system.
    Some people suppose the moon illusion to be due to atmospheric refraction. Refraction effects can be measured with instruments or cameras, and we find that refraction actually makes the moon's disk subtend a smaller angle in the sky than it would have if the atmosphere were not present. These refraction effects make the moon's apparent horizontal angular diameter still smaller (by about 1.7 percent) when the moon is near the horizon! These physical effects can be confirmed with telescopes and cameras. The moon's vertical angular diameter at the horizon is even smaller, causing the moon to appear "flattened." At the horizon the light must pass through a greater distance in our atmosphere than when the moon is higher in the sky. This size change is also opposite (and much smaller than) the psychological moon illusion!

    And the Earth orbits the sun. Therefore, the Moon orbits the sun.

    If the moon didn't orbit the sun, it wouldn't move along with us.

    Faulty assumption. If the earth was not acting upon the moon, it would not orbit because it doesn't have the correct mass. It would either move out the galaxy or crash into the sun (or another planet on its way).

    Just because Native Canadian orbits Diablo does not mean he orbits Luna also :party:

    It seems that the policy is: Faction players play only with other faction players. The Faction players of the past did not want interplay with non-faction players. So... this should not be unexpected change.
    Frankly, I do not see any reason for Faction guilds at all... the Faction is the
    guild. Faction players should just stop belonging to a guild.
