As you may have seen or heard, today was patch day for LOTRO. There’s quite a bit of new things, but I wanted to touch on two of them. First off, I was quite surprised when I walked out of the housing zone near Thorin’s Hall to see a goblin invasion force! I’m really intrigued by this structure as it is quite large and probably is the new instance area they’ve pumped up. Has anyone had a chance to run a lowbie through this new area yet?
And yes, that’s my champion now level 47 and rapidly rising with the new task system (more coming on that later):
And not to disappoint, I did get one of the new horses on my Warden as she’s already grinding kindred with two of the elf factions and was close enough to barter enough reputation with Rivendell to get the elven meta deed horse:
Overall I think this is a good system wide patch for LOTRO, there isn’t much for those at level cap but I’m quite happy to see the attention to detail they’re applying to the entire game as I just can’t wait to see what this new raid cluster’s gonna look like!
