  2. Attention All City Governors!

We have had to tighten permissions on the boards, and request that you contact an Administrator for inclusion in the new Governor permission group. You will then see the Governor specific board for your shard, AND proudly bear the new Governor banner when you post.
    Thank you!

  3. Tapatalk Users I apologize for the phone explosions. While doing emergency maintenance as part of the recovery from a data explosion earlier this week (related to Tapatalk), a lot of old messages were resent with @Kirthag a the sender. You can disregard those messages - the Tapatalk issues will be mitigated tonight with software updates. If you have any questions, please let me know. ~Kirthag

Regarding the First Amendment

  • Q. Does the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protect my freedom of speech at Stratics?

    A. No, the First Amendment does not protect your freedom of speech at Stratics, nor on any forum community.

The First Amendment right to freedom of speech deals with actions by the federal and state governments. It does not apply to actions by private entities, such as an individual or a private corporation. It especially does not apply to administrative action by private individuals on forums -- this has been strongly reaffirmed by court cases as recently as 2010. It's a very simple concept: this is a private server, you're in our house, and you'll play by our rules.
