A change to NPC's and Guards Operate in Felucca..

    Okay, how should I put this? I can't remember exactly but sometime ago, red players(murderers) were freely able to enter into guard zones, the only time they get attacked by any guards is if they attack a "blue player" or if they are already flagged.. I disagree with this, but I do not agree with guards being able to kill a person in ONE HIT.. That is just ridiculous..

    It's time to explore and bring back some of the sandbox aspects of UO and get rid of limitations that don't make sense.. So I will start with this..

    Guards: Guards should be weakened, just a bit.. I take that back, by a lot! Guards should come and attack reds like they use to, but take away that one hit kill.. Make it so players can fight off the guards, similar to faction guards.

    NPC's: There was a time when we could go around and kill NPC's in Bucc's Den where there is no guards, but now they are un-killable, I remember players would always try to attack NPC's and they would get killed over and over again and there would be hundreds of corpse' all over the place, I believe this is why they got rid of it.. But players back then really DID want to kill NPC's and Guards, and we still do.. By weakening the guards, this can happen again.... It was just a really fun aspect of the game..

    Yeah I remember when you could still run from guards if you took off on horse with a good connection by running north west or south east... Then add the insta lightning....LAME
    I mean the dev's could make them still pretty powerful. By that I mean make them have like the power of the dark father or one of those big ass lethal poisoning snake mother ****ers, the person should be able to fight back then and have the ol' guards help and probably win, if the idiot criminal stuck around to fight.
  3. You actually can still kill a guard, as long as they aren't called on you. For instance, you can go to umbra, get a vampire bat to attack you (They must target you, you can't target them) then kite it back to the very edge of guards zone. Once there, call Guards! and lets say Owen the guard shows up and kills it. If you subsequently say "OWEN MOVE" over and over until he walks out of the guardzone, you can attack him, and they do a measly 130 damage a hit with their axe. If you disarm them, they do about 30 or so odd. That's how some players have the blood red axes with no mods on them. This was also doable with any guards, but the only ones I ever saw someone do it with were umbra for the axes or haven for the non named green plate.
