    Your Royal Majesty,

I am writing this missive hoping to convince you to lift the temporary ban from my contracted privateers you had escorted from the assembly hall at our last Conseil du Rio. Investigating the circumstances prior to the interdiction, Niamh has assured me she wishes no harm upon the conceil or myself. Ironically, she was instead protective in light of the rumblings directed towards those presiding Vesper.

In light of all the treasonous accusations, stemming from Magincia to Britain, my health had been of concern with some nasty headaches, (most assuredly due to the stress). I assure you the words she spoke as she was removed from the conseil chambers, were said in haste. The privateers have been godsend to Vesper, not only in contending with the impact of the Embargo but also the threat of piracy on our borders and seas. Many of the governors have warned the Conseil of this perilous vulnerability. Is there a protocol in which this incident could be absolved before the next meeting to? I trust that your insightful wisdom will know what is best.

    Yours faithfully,

    Governor of Vesper
