Account re-activation Issues

    Greetings all, I know this is my first thread on stratics, but I have played UO on and off for around 13 years. Around seven years ago, I decided to quit and move to free shards, of course free shards just do not have the feel of the main servers. My main concern is quite simple : No matter what I have tried to retrieve my account details from the past, everything has failed.

    I understand this has probably been asked many times concerning accounts re-activations and such but I just can not seem to get anywhere retrieving my details. I understand fully, I could easily start a new account, but most of my characters on my old account were worthy till this day.

    I have tried called the number 1-650-628-4306 but to no avail *it just does not work*.. I am absolutely stumped, if I can not get my old account I just do not have the time anymore to start to rebuilding again. I used to have an email with netscape, but netscape was obviously shut down.

    Again, I apologize profusely if I have decided to add this thread in the incorrect area, but out of sheer desperation could someone perhaps direct me to other options to retrieve my old account :(.

    Thank you for listening to me moan, but I would love to come back to a game which dramatically changed my life.

    just give it a couple of days, they changed over to a new and apperrantly untested billing system and have there hands full with a lot.. and i mean all 85 of us still playing the game mad at them.

    If you see this thread merged with the same topics please don't despair! We are trying to consolidate information so we can pass it along as organized as possible.

    We also understand the frustration on both ends of this spectrum. Cal et al are working hard on their end to find and resolve issues and we hope to see some of these questions addressed for frustrated players very soon!

    So, paid for UO has declined in player numbers? I mean I would still like to see my main character once more time, but if they are having issues with accounts at the moment, well... I guess your right, patience is a virtue.. I hope..

    Ok kiddo let me see if I can help you a bit.

    The number for Origin is 1 866-543-5435. hit 1 at the first message that will take you to the que for the CS. (Customer Service)
    When you get to them simply explain you had an account give them the e mail addy you had for it. Dont worry that its no longer in exsistance they will ask you for a new e mail to put on the account. They will confirm the account is yours by asking a few questions such as your date of birth you put on the account, they will need to go into the old system to retreve the account but give them time. Be patient sugar they are new to this too. Good luck kiddo. oh and welcome back to UO
