    Greetings, everyone!

A lot has happened since we last sent a newsletter. We’ve brought on board a community director (hello!) and a new programmer. We’ve planned and announced a new update. We built that update and put it live. And now, we’re about to head to the airport and fly to Boston to show off Legends of Aria at PAX East 2018.

Click those links if you want all the details, of course. But here’s the TLDR:

We need as many people as possible to log in while we’re at PAX, from April 5-8. Especially if you can play from 9 AM to 6 PM EDT (that’s 1300 to 2200 UTC, if you need to do math to find your own zone). That’s when we’ll be showing the game to new potential players and partners, and we need your help to demonstrate the potential of this game world.

The update we did was big. Multiple new systems for item color, item usage, and combat. Major fixes to “quality of life” issues, such as pet statues and NPC behavior. The first of many rounds of performance optimization. Scroll down for the patch notes!

There is a bug hunt contest afoot! We’ll send our top bug hunters a little thank-you gift (consisting of our PAX event swag -- a lanyard, a thin blank journal, and a poster) when we’re back from the show.

Do you know any streamers, journalists, or bloggers going to PAX this week? Please have them reach out to our new community director to get a press appointment at the show. That’s thirty minutes hands on with Derek and Jeffrey, who can’t wait to show how much the game has grown. And if any of you are going, please, drop a line so we can roll out the red carpet, and come by booth #11008. Email [email protected], and don’t forget the .net.

Many of you are probably wondering: Is this CB2? The answer is no, it’s not. Please watch the news from PAX to see our new updated Road Map for our best estimates for the rest of the year.

If you haven’t already liked us on Twitter or Facebook, and you don’t hang out on our forums or Reddit, please do join the fun! We’re going to be soliciting quite a bit of specific feedback in the weeks to come, so this is a great time to see your wishes included.

Thanks for hanging in there with us. We know it’s been a long trip, and we’re enormously grateful to you all. Your faith, interest, and encouragement is what has gotten us this far, and what will get us to the finish line.

All right, on to the patch notes...and see you at PAX East!
