Hi, I just came back after a 3-4yr break but Im back, and was wondering if I could get some template advice from some seasoned vets. Seems the assassin template isn't as good as it used to be (or I'm just that bad ;D)

Ok so my Assassin template is:

    120 Fencing
    110 Parry (120 with +skill)
    110 Ninja
    100 Hiding
*100 Bush (so I can chug pots, and healing with confidence)
    80 Poison
    80 Stealth

*added bush and dropped 90 tactics, because, A) to parry I had to have a shield and the only healing on this template was with pots (drop shield, pot, pick up shield was very slow) and 2) I figure the only moves I really needed were infecting strike and Shadowstrike which both work on this template without tactics.

Right at 700, template is crowded and with the use of spamable cure pots, poisoning seems lackluster (instant cure LP huh, fair, cool, moving on)

This guy was going to be the jump out of stealth, poison, DS, smack and kill guy, but anyone worth anything in pvp will just instant cure the poison, heal to full and they are good to go.

Any ideas on how to fix up the template, or maybe a different direction to take the guy (stealth archer, pure dexxer, whatever)? Thanks for any help you guys can come up with!

Drop poison, stars and darts work, get ninja to 120. Drop parry? Put 105 necro 120 ss on him. Imbuing should help with jewels and whatnot. Mana dump on your opponent. Some really cool necro spells, use most of them. With over 100 ss you can follow ghosts around.

Necro and ss is a viable option but if u wanna do good damage on deathstrike u need to 120 ninja and stealth(u already have gm hiding)....the route your going u should have 120 fencing, bush, stealth, ninja, tactics, and gm hiding. Use pots for healing and curing, stack up crap loads of HP regen, smoke bomb and take wolf form if things get harry and u get low on health. I run a stealth archer with 90 tactics, healing, anatomy and use items to reach 120 stealth. all depends on what style u like.....if u have soulstones try them all out.

First off with bushido you dont want a shield for parry. Youre best off with a one hand weapon. Using evasion and counterstrike with bush and parry is good defence. Also lightning strike is awesome offencively.

But you want an assisin. So drop parry and go with...
120 Ninja, Bush, weap. GM hiding. 90 Tactics. 75/80 Stealth, with the rest in Med.
Smoke bomb from dismounts or mass damage, trap box from paralize.

My buddy runs a crazy assisin temp with resist on it. he uses imbued jewelry with 13 skill mods on each. Id say thats the safest assisin temp ive seen.

Or go with the 120 weap, ninja, stealth. GM hide and tracking. 90-120 tacts. remainder where you like it. No bush for running heal. But as youll be tracking you shouldnt be shown often.

Do you mind posting your friends spec (and jewlery stats) I have some ideas on the direction I want to take this guy, but he may just end up being a stealth archer, we'll see
