I am currently at 73 skill and it just took me 3 hours to get 1.0 gain. I tried in different locations like Heartwood, Luna and various other towns.

Is it really that slow or am I doing it wrong?

    Thanks all.

It is notoriously slow ... but once you are a proper beggar, you get away with every crazy stuff you can come up with. So keep on it :thumbup1:

I refer you to Scrumpy Jack on Europa shard ... he's quite a handful *g*

What is the 'total skill' on the characters you are training in begging? Can make a big difference to skill gain rates...

And incidentally - begging is what is termed "Skills that are not difficulty based" in that they are not opposed to any sort of 'resistance' variable, there's no 'preferred target' at different levels of skill, it's plain repetition until you get to 100.
