I tried to find the answer to elsewhere to no avail, thus I come here for answers.

While sorting through the endless boxes of crap I have collected over my years in UO looking for cleanup worthy items I came across a couple chest of T-maps. I noticed some of them have a "Blessed" tag on them, while others do not. There did not seem to be a pattern to why. I have Trammel and Felucca blessed, and blessed at every level 1-6. Are these old things I should keep as rares or get the cleanup points? The unblessed ones are in the chests I have used more recently so I suspect it is an age thing but would like verification.

edit: I just noticed they get a blessed tag when you decipher them. Are the ones that lack the blessed tag old and thus rare?

Not blessed = undecoded. If decoded and still not blessed they are indeed old. This occured for a brief time after treasure maps were introduced. It is not recognized as a rare item, so go right ahead and turn them all in.
