More yakkin' about the new expansion. The idea of ship to ship combat between players is enticing. It brings a dynamic to the game that would be unique. Imagine, ships of PKs chasing down merchant vessels... bounty hunter flotillas coming after said PKs... hell, even shoreline bombardments at PvP battlegrounds. But nope, I doubt it's gonna happen. Why? Well, again, in my previous thread, I still assert that people don't go to Felucca because, simply, they don't wanna deal with PvP*. (Now mind you, I've just now completed a YEAR visiting Felucca at least weekly hunting wisps, and I NEVER ONCE saw a PK appear....) But now nobody is going to risk their 200k (probably a lot more when you fit it with cannons) investment going to Felucca. So how could we make people take that risk? * - And before the hate mail inflames the thread, I still ask everyone to look at the facet populations. The people have spoken. While many people do enjoy the PvP experience, the fact everyone plays Trammel proves that the majority of the players do not want to have a battle forced upon them (that they will probably lose, since a PK usually templated and pointjuiced up for taking down other PCs) at any given moment.
