    The Beast Attacks Britain's Wheatfields
    The Beast Attacks Britains Farms!

In a surprise attack on the farms of Britain the monster known only as "The Beast" attacked and burnt the capital city's major source of food - its wheatfileds as drawn here by an eye-witness.

The citizens of the capital fled in terror at the ruthless onslaught as the farmers tried to protect their crops in vain.

Eye-witnesses reported that the destruction of the crops was complete.

From where will the citizens of Britain get their food from now?

Fortunately the Beast was too stupid to find the two northernmost wheat fields, so we aer still able to produce 40% of the usual output. I am sure the farms in Yew and Moonglow can supply the rest.

Suggest that all towns guard against future attacks, food shortage and an uncertain economy would aid our enemies plans.

*and I see a report from local fisherman bemoaning the lack of fish, looks bad indeed*
