I just did some work on my crafter, and cleaned off all those little bits of points I had lying around from the early character creation days, when I found that I have some spare points.

Full template as it'll be when I'm done:

    Blacksmithy: 120
    Tailoring: 120
    Mining: 100
    Tinkering: 100
    Arms Lore: 100
    Magery:100 (not wasting a scroll on a non-combat character)

For those who are math impaired like me, that's 640.

So... what do I do with those last points? This is a 1 year old account. There's not enough to tack on another GM crafting skill. I'm sorta thinking of adding some eval int just to make it a little easier to kill those ore elementals and occasional ogres, and keep my beetles alive. What would you guys suggest to do with those last remaining points?

You only need 60 magery, a +15 magery book, a +15 magery ring and an alchemists bauble (+10 magery and 30% EP). That will give you 100 magery, while giving you the ability to add 100 Carpentry or 100 Eval (hell, do one, and when you hit 12 months, get a couple soulstones with the vet rewards, and do BOTH, and trade the skills out as needed - it will also allow you to stone off 2 skills at once, buy some music temporarily, and put on music jewelry, and make instruments with the carpentry - just dump the music when done, as it can always be bought back).

The Bauble will also allow you to use potions to greater effect. (for that matter, donating excess ingots to get the Treatise on alchemy talisman from the library will give you +5 more magery, and 15% more EP to go with the bauble)

Do note that, in either case, only Earthquakes and mage weapons will allow you to hurt shadow iron elementals or Valorite elementals (though you can use summons to keep the elemental off you while you attack it).
