Crafting Musical Instruments. Should there be recipes & Runics? (Impresario Bonuses)

  1. Considering these are crafted items, should there be runic tools,
    and maybe quests for recipes related to the type of mods that would be applied?
    How much intensity would each tier of runic bring?
    Should these have skill points as mods?
    Should they be repairable?
    How about wood type mods on them?
    What effect would each wood type apply?
    What about ..(you add some)

    Something for us bards out there to talk about.

    I think there is a problem with instruments being non-equippable... How'd you deal with ten 10% lrc instruments in your backpack?
  4. Well LRC may be a mod that would have no use or relation to instruments.
    Again, what mod WOULD fit. GM instruments get a bonus now when used just not held.

  6. OOOH... this idea comes up about once every 3 to 4 months. Last time a Developer responded to the request it was something along the lines of "there are no plans to do that at this time."

    I think it is about time.

    I'd rather leave it like it is, rather than have to equip an instrument to get some bonus, resulting in a nerf to the skill (because the music based professions are already pretty potent, pvmwise).

    No the satyr need to have a bard item each. Supers slayers low chance. Not like the TOT didn't flood that market anymore then it already is.
