The Town Crier was First to sound the Alarm, Trinsic was under attack of the Bane! Sister Frances helped spread that word and Lord Dar (TOT) raced for the Stables. "Defenders of Britannia, Rally Forth, Trinsic Stands in Need," shouted Lord Dar into the Mysterious and Magical Winds of Warning [OOC also known as gen chat]. Forces approached from both the Western and Southern City Gates. Soon Lady Happy Fool, Pandora, Tremain, Chester, Aesop and Lord Aragon Joined up with Dar and Sister Frances. The Defenders swept through Trinsic by Street and Alley. Bane corpses soon littered the Streets. The battle raged on for Hours as the Citizens of Trinsic armed themselves with anything that could be used as a weapon. Night fell like the Heavy Iron Gates of Britain. Tents were erected and cots and bedrolls filled with Weary Warriors too tired to Stand. Lady Davon, a Legendary Bard, was well attuned to many things Musical and Magical and heard the sudden cry for Night Fighters needed to hold the City while the Main Force of Defenders slept and refreshed themselves. "Who will Join Me," Whispered Lady Davon into the Winds, "I Shall," echoed back the reply of Aria McCullough, and the Night Force assembled. Lady Davon and Aria crept more slowly and cautiously through Street and Alley followed by Dragon, Boura, and Kitsune. To the Great Amazement and Frustration of the Bane, this tiny Force continued to decimate the forces of the Bane. Occassionally a Bane Guard managed to Land a Mortal blow on Aria or Lady Davon. But never were both sent to the Spirit Realm together. Carefully, Strategically they divided and conquered the Bane when suddenly TWO Bane Guards Ambushed their small but Merry Band. Tho a Gteat test of their Mettle and Skills, even Twain Guards proved no match for Aria and Lady Davon. As the sun kissed the waters lapping the Trinsic Docks the "Night Reapers" were relieved by a Day Watch of Defenders. At the Writing of this Report the Battle still rages, its outcome Uncertain!
