Am I alone in being disappointed with the new items introduced with the Covetous Revamp? I think the craft-related items are kinda' neat but I'm not an avid crafter so maybe I'm not the best judge on that. But the other items aren't to hot. I love this game and only comment negatively when I think something is way out of line. Here is my train of thought: It will take a lot of time and effort to acquire the amount of points needed to purchase these items/weapons/etc. These items have a limited life span (25 hours of battle time?). These items don't seem unique (The Katana looks nice but according to Stratics we aren't sure it exists). We can already get similar items in the game or from imbuing. Actually I think there are much better weapons/armor/etc. out there than what is being introduced with this release. So what is my motivation to spend 20+ hours over a period of several days/weeks in Covetous fighting wave after wave of beasties just to purchase a temporary item that is of no real use? Where is the incentive? I'm just really having a hard time understanding why all this time and effort is being put into this when there seems to be no real draw. I hate seeing people bash the developers of a game I really enjoy. Is there something you guys can change/improve? Because at this point it seems the only thing that will draw players to Covetous will be curiosity. Once that is quenched they will have no reason to return. Covetous will be dead in 3-4 weeks. So again, do others feel the same or am I alone in being disappointed with the new items?
