Should iron weapons receive properties based on metal?

  1. Yes, this should be changed to balance runics.

  2. No, metal weapons are powerful enough.

Iron weapons receive the same chance to break using metal as wooden weapons do, with none of the benefits. To me this seems highly unfair, especially due to the fact that 90% of the warriors on this shard and most others use wooden weaps because they have the best specials/speed etc(Bokutos, X-bows, composites, heavys). Isn't it time that we stop risking breaking these weapons just so we can Tokuno dye them? I'm not proposing any huge changes, just something small for each category of metal based on the difficulty to enhance the item, such as:

    DC - 20%DI 50%lower req
    Shadow - 10SSI
    Copper - 5HCI
    Bronze - 5DCI/35DI
    Gold - 40 luck 50% lower req 40% DI
    Agapite - 5%HCI 10%SSI
    Verite - 5%DCI 5%HCI 20%DI
    Valorite - 40%DI 20SSI

Something like this. And not to go over the cap. IE enhancing a kryss with 40DI and 20SSI would only bring it to the cap of DI and 30SSI, not 40. Higher end metals cost MORE than the wooden counter parts, and even with talismans, ASH etc still have about an 80% break rate. I'm also not saying this should be above other issues, but simply tossed into the developers pool of ideas. This is most important to SP where we can only bless one item at a time, so a single weapon is often the livelihood of a person.

I believe Leurocian touched upon this at the Town Hall and said he would like to see weapons enhanceable in this way.
