Before you all freak out at me I have something to say. Now, I am not implying that Final Fantasy XIV Realm Reborn is a lot like Ultima Online in ay way. It is completely different.

What I am saying is that all of us Ultima fans can find a lot in Final Fantasy XIV that reminds us of Ultima Online.

FFXIV has a class system but you can almost call it class-less. You can do everything. So you dont really have a level. You have a skill level. You are not limited to a couple gathering and crafting professions; you can do them all.

The day/night cycles are fantastic with full weather.

Heck, go to the 1:55 mark here:

Sounds a bit like classic Ultima Online music. Chopping wood in the forest...the good old days..

I tried is for $14.99 from Amazon and I have a lot of that old classic MMO feeling back.
