    In a Lonely Place

Mizara Khan sank into the ground. It had been an interesting meeting and it seemed as if there were more possibilities than had at first seemed likely. She had to make a short journey now and carry out the deed she had promised. It was merely a parlour trick and required little magic as such but it was usually effective. A few whispered words and she was done.

Later that night Mizara Khan studied her own hands and fingers as she nimbly moved the coin from hand to hand and finger to finger knowing full well that anyone who could have been watching her would have no real idea of how it was done. Distraction, slight of hand, whatever one called it it meant the same thing - make the observer look in one direction whilst you carried out the move which you really wanted to stay hidden.

    Layers upon layers.

Things were getting more and more interesting and there was so much space in which Mizara could operate that she could come and go more or less as she pleased. Nathan was acting true to type and did she get a hint that Fyn was jealous of Nathan? Or was it another emotion she couldn't read?

Whichever way she looked at things she was pleased. Things were becomng more chaotic by the day and this was something she revelled in and the opportunities were growing as the various splits across the Kingdom widened...
