I read somewhere that fire steeds resisting spell can go over 100. The Pet Calc says 108 but I cant get mine past 100. Does anyone know for sure the highest resist can go?

From memory I think their top cap is 108, but with steeds they cap skill when you tame them. So if it has less than 100, 100 is your skill cap. If the skill is over 100, the skill level immediately after you tame it will be the cap for that skill. Hope that makes sense ;)

For a 108 steed you'd be looking at 120 skill on the wild steed.

I confirm, 108 is the cap.

By the way does someone know if it really makes a difference ?

I think it makes a huge difference on greater dragons where it can be over 120, and I would think there would be a noticeable difference between 100 and 105 spell resist. Whether it is enough of a difference to trump the pet's stats or resists, is another question.
