Do many of you play gargoyle bards? My elf bard kept getting knocked off his horse doing the abyss rouser quest (in that last camp in the cave), leaving him trying to get off a peace and invis while hobbling around on foot. What's the effect when a gargoyle gets hit by a thrower? A gargoyle wouldn't be dismounted, but does it slow down the flying? Is the ability to fly and not get dismounted a good reason to switch a bard from elf to gargoyle? Thanks for any input.

The gargoyle gets knocked out of flight, the same as a dismount, with the same timer to resume flight as it takes to remount for a human/elf.

Thanks, Aibal. I've never played a gargoyle. Sounds like being a gargoyle wouldn't help in that situation.
