Guild Deeds / Stones

Discussion in 'UO Rares Collector' started by imported_Mezzac, Mar 14, 2008.

  1. Hi all,

    1. Can Guild Stones still be used or are they just decoration?

    2. Can Guild Deeds be used to get Guild stones or are they just decoration?

And while we are on the subject of Guild Stones, why were taken from the game - was there a reason for this??

    Thanks Mezzac

Teufel answered the first 2 correctly.

As for your final question. I presume it was to make UO easier. Back in the day you had to drag people to a guildstone (which could be a pain with reds and a guildstone based in Tram) in order to sign them up. Also GMs couldn't kick people, except from the guildstone. So that could invite some abuse (blocking the guildstone, kill all the members, etc.).
