Without the entire alliance having to go to war..
Who else would agree?
Time wasted on change when you could just boot them, fight them, and readd them at your own convience.
Not sure if you know this however, but on shards like Atlantic, Europa and Catskills is where the only RP warring left that takes places..
It's usually permanent for these guilds, (permanent if you set everything at 0) rather than 30 RP guilds going into an alliance, they war each other, less administrative, less buggy..
On Pacific we have a lot of RP guilds as well, they are in an alliance, however there are guilds outside the alliance that would love to be highlighted with the rest of the guilds for interaction reasons, however, they do not wish to become highlighted with the entire alliance as they do not want to be highlighted with every guild in it..
This is why I brought up this idea.. And believe me, the roleplayers within this game have taken far more advantage of the warring system than the PVPers have..
No. If the alliance leader would declare war on a guild then i would step out of the alliance. We got 50+ guild in our alliance. And i don't think many would be happy they would have to deal with "Orange" people everywhere they go.
Many in the alliance are not PvP oriented people.
If you want to beat each other skull in join a faction.
Disagree. The reason it is an alliance is because you're allied. If one goes to war, they all should. You can't have the green mechanics as friendlies/guildmate status without the whole package. Choose what means more to you... the fact they are green, or a war.
If the Pacific rp community has an alliance system in place, that is what works for their community. Find another that fits your playstyle better.

The current system as it stands is that the ALLIANCE leader has to declare war if a guild wants to go to war with a specific guild.. The entire alliance has to go to war with that guild.. My suggestion is that if a guild wants to go to war with another guild and they are in an alliance, they should be able to without the entire alliance going to war.. This would prevent guilds from dropping out of the alliance as well..
From my perspective, alliances are far too administrative.. The ability to add and remove guilds makes sense, but to eliminate the warlord rank of a guild who is an a alliance is lame..
Well from an RP stand point, the guilds in the "alliance" are not necessarily allied, remember that when roleplaying we ignore the game mechanics.. No guild is in terms of roleplaying is allied, there are many evil guilds and holy wars going on most of the time.. It is not this way on Pacific but I have seen it on other shards in other alliances..
Kind of disregards the concept of an alliance doesn't it?
