How many points to put into Necromancy?

Discussion in 'UO Spellcaster' started by imported_Ill Saint, Dec 26, 2007.

  1. I've got 115 Necro at the moment, but was wondering if lowering it to 105 will affect anything else aside from chance to cast Rev. Is there any documentation on this?

    Thanks for any help.

Lower it to 105. That's 100% chance for everything except rev.

[/ QUOTE ]Lowering it to 60 is also an option, for warrior-focused templates. 60 allows you to use Pain Spike, Corpse Skin, Curse Weapon, Blood Oath, Mind Rot and the Forms (Vamp requires some extra items). You'd basically lose only Strangle, Poison Strike and Vengeful Spirit... Obviously Strangle is a very nice one, but some warrior-focused templates can't spare the 29 mana to cast it anyway.

Well, I have 105 Necro and I fail on VE and sometimes on LF. I don't use rev a lot.

Yeah, but his point was that all in-combat spells have 100% chance to cast.
