How much do u MISS Dawn?

Discussion in 'UO Origin' started by Duke Greenspan, Feb 16, 2011.

  1. Not sure about Origin, but it seems Dawn is dying in almost every shard... So the question is; Do u miss Dawn?

Hehe... personally, I will say NOPE! Why?
1). We have a Queen in Tokuno, Queen Zhah, Ophid. & Terathan are also led by female leaders...... I just find it too many females leaders in the storyline... Well, I don't have any problem with females... but man... do u think OSI overdone it?

2). The scenario of Dawn's death shows Ultima Online is not a bed time story for children! Let's say she doesn't die in vain.

3), In term of the storyline, Dawn is a cool military leader who kill Lord Blackthrone & Casca.... but as a Queen, she made a ill use on the Crystal of Duplicity, not so bright on deal with Queen Zhah & she even lost Ors to the hand of Banes..... really her storyline makes her a weak Queen.

4). Her death brings more excitment to the game than she is living.... Oh... and brings u the statue too!

5). In Orgin, we lost most of the cities to Banes..... so it is fair to have Queen Dawn dies.... in 1 way or others...

Well, just my personal opinion.... don't hate me if u don't love my comments :thumbup1:

What do u guys think btw?

I think that UO is mirroring RL. The females work and the Males stay home and play video games. Look at the number of graduate students female versus male and you will be shocked that not only are most female but more are asian and indian than american.

aye, could care less who claims ta be king or queen, not a title you earn from accomplishin' anything this world. British, Blackthorn, Dawn... ain't none of em kept the frost trolls off my doorstep, and I ain't never seen none of em helpin' ta kill Chief Paroxysmus or Dread Horn.
  4. Lol.... thnx for sharing ur comments....

Infact Dawn seems not to be very favourable in Origin while there are many players feel sorry for her death..... It seems we'll feel sorry if we kill a dog (drop in frame/krama) by mistake than having a main character dies in our shard... Lol... that's how much we love our Queen....:thumbup1:

Infact, I don't even know much about Dawn's death in Origin.... I know in some shards, her grave is set in Yew rather than Brit.... The funny thing is... we have Dawn's grave inside Brit castle while the town inside is now controlled by Bane......

Also, there are little news of how Ors is doing in Origin.... Orcs committed suicide in some shards while he can also ends up hiding in others... Whoever pick up the leader role for Brit also diff from shard to shard..... but I can't find much info for Origin....

Anyone can fill me up with the story line?

I have been ignoring the whole Bane story line. I prefer to be fishing. It will be sorted out soon, what ever the outcome is.

I'm just waiting for it to end so I can go back to doing business at my normal vendors.
