I've not heard of Rebecca Black. Is she new to the scene?
I never heard of her, till someone said something about her on a different forum.
Normally I can tell who and what a music is just be listening to it and the video, but its hard here.
She can't act, she can't dance, she can't sing... all of those are just not enough to get her more then a 1 hit wonder and the course of "fun fun fun fun" is not something that is normally catchy.
But as for the video, Its very well written and produced. The CGI is something that I personally like.
After writing this I did a google. Seems like she has been busy: Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ Goes Viral; Simon Cowell Takes Notice | Access Hollywood - Celebrity News, Photos & Videos
I woke up this morning and this song is literally everywhere.
And not the good kind of everywhere, where it's actually seeming to spread through the internet by its own merits.
The bad kind.
Like a Roomba trying to clean up dog diarrhoea...
The song itself isn't actually that terrible, compared to the general pop genre, so I'm go ahead and say that getting spammed across the internet has probably harmed her music career.
Reminded me of Justin Bieber. But then, I'm not keen on Justin Bieber.
I didn't lose the entire 4 mins thankfully.
It's sad what youtube will allow to be posted these days.
I had no idea there were videos of it...
I heard the anecdote last year some time, and I've been sitting on it ever since.
Should such a thing be in any process of happening, anything regarding a video camera would be the absolute last thing on my mind...
This is the new Friday rick roll.
Its a dozen times more annoying IMHO.
I never understood people who don't like getting rick-roll'd. I actually enjoy that song. I had it on my ipod long before it became an internet meme.
That's right. I said it. I'm sure I'm not alone either, everyone else is just afraid to admit it.
I've become slightly addicted to this song. O gosh!
That's nothing to be ashamed of.
why is she so mono-tone
Some people can just not sing: this must be one of them.
Although saying that: 42 million views?! Thats more then TGN!
It just dawned on me that you were talking about Rebecca Black and not Rick Astley.
That might be something to be ashamed of.
Rick Astley is good people.
He'd never give you up,. let you down, run around or hurt you.
All Rebecca Black cares about is Friday
Little known fact: He collects pixar movies. He has every one of them, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life. The cool thing is he lets anyone borrow them, all you have to do is ask. Except for Up, you can't borrow that one. He's made it very clear that he's never going to give you Up.
lol. I'll admit, it made me grin...which is almost as bad as admitting to liking Rick Astley.
I knew exactly what this was before I even clicked on it.
The company "ARK Music Factory" is a borderline pedophilia's wet dream. If you youtube them and some responses its pretty outlandish what they are doing.
Anyways on the song:
If any of you are Jimmy Fallon or Stephen Colbert fans you should watch Jimmy Fallon's show Friday. Because.........Stephen Colbert is going to sing this song Live on the show. Why you ask?
Stephen and Jimmy have become BFFSM(best friends for six months, stupid, but if you watch their shows, its comedy). Stephen said on his show that his friend jimmy was going to donate 26,000 dollars to Stephens favorite charity(donorschoose.org) well one problem. Jimmy never said that.
Soooo, Stephen goes on jimmy's show and they have some hilarious banter about how can you be someones best friend if you can't donate their money etc...(im sure its all on youtube)
It ends with Jimmy saying ok, and asking fans to help donate and if they reach the goal(they already have) by Friday, April 1st, Stephen will sing the song on the show.
No its not an April fools joke. Its real. Should be a good show. More info on Stephen and Jimmy's pages.
Anyhow, thought I'd put that out there for some sure to be epic hilarity.
The only way I would watch Jimmy Fallon's show is if someone donated 26 grand to me.
*raises card* I'll do it for 20 even.
Wow...this song is very clumbsy.Too many repetitive, pointless, words.I really don't think I have to be told that sunday comes after saturday.
