As a pixie of body, mind, and soul... I would like to say I think the whole corporate idea of “Valentine’s Day” is a farce, a hallow and evil day where no good comes from it other then candy. Candy is real, unlike “Valentine’s Day”. Candy is good... unlike “Valentine’s Day”. Candy can even be good for you... very unlike “Valentine’s Day”. And Candy can be enjoyed all year round. Amazingly, totally unlike a very second of the 24 hours of “Valentine’s Day”. I’m also fairly sure every kind of people of the world, every culture, no matter of race or religion makes and enjoys candy. The same can not be said about “Valentine’s Day”. Even back in the day our world didn’t have candy... a horrible and dark time... I founded the First Church of Candy on the Atlantic shard. Then magically, candy came into I world... slowly, but surely. Yet, the last three Halloweens... the same candy crossed our palms as the makers chose not to invent new things... and that was a downer. Still, the Church of Candy stands strong. Does anyone build churches, shrines or temples to “Valentine’s Day”? I say-ith... “Not on your Nelly.” So... why not take this outdated and corporate hollow national day of hearts and flowers and just create a celebration of what it's truly all about? CANDY!!! (First candy of our world) To know candy is to love candy.
