Is that a 2d or 3d client? It looks a lot like the old 2d client.

I was just thinking about starting UO again. I used to play LS many years ago. I quit shortly after the 3d client came out. I greatly preferred the old 2d client.

Thats the 2D client, You will be able to choose from either 2D or 3D, but it seems that the Devs are trying to push 3D.

you are incorrect. That is the new SA client. You will be able to choose between that and the existing client, which is being referred to as the 'classic' client by EA.
SA uses terrain and mobiles based on the KR client, although not identical, and buildings and items based on the classic client, together with a new user interface that's much better than that in KR.
