    Today is a big day for Legends of Aria as we have finally released the first iteration of support for custom assets. Please keep in mind that this support is experimental and as such is covered under NDA until it becomes part of the stable client. (Alpha 3)

    We've also scheduled an admin roundtable on Thursday, July 6th at 5:00pm EST with Supreem to give you all a few days to play with it and ask questions. (Roundtable Link)

    This is exciting news but I do want to be sure that you all know that these features are in an extremely experimental state. There are still several places where you need to hand edit xml and/or Lua tables. We have plans to implement visual editors for these things and they will be rolled out over time.

    Custom Object Libraries





    [FONT=tahoma, verdana, segoe, sans-serif]Legends of Aria uses "Client Objects" to keep the server and client in sync with regards to interactivity of objects and collision. You can add your own objects (including those obtained from the Unity Asset Store) to these custom libraries.

    [FONT=tahoma, verdana, segoe, sans-serif]You can now create completely custom maps from anything at your disposal in Unity. The toolkit also includes every original world object and building we've created for Legends of Aria to date.

    • Dungeon Maps​
