Major League Gaming adds New PC Circuit!

    Major League Gaming has announced today that they will be starting a PC Circuit starting with this season of play. MLG has been primarily a console gaming based Professional gaming league with tournaments in Halo, Call of Duty and similar games. They air some highlights on the TV Network G4 in the USA and have become large over the past few years.
    The first announced game for the MLG Pro Circut though of course is one of the hottest eSports right now, World of WarCraft! The format will be the very popular 3v3 arena.
    Some other quick details include:

    • Kick-off event: MLG San Diego, June 11-13
    • Other stops: MLG Orlando, July 11-13 and MLG Dallas, TBD.
    • Official PC Circuit game: World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
    • Format: Arena 3-vs-3 - more details on rules and the official format will be released on May 15.
    • Total spots available: 32 teams
    • Prizes: $22,500 per event
    • Registration is expected to open May 15th.
    An official announcement on their website is expected soon along with registration information.
