A funny thing happened on the way to Moonglow...

The salty sea air and the sound of waves washing against the bow of a tall ship has a tremendously lulling affect on a sleepy fisher. My Lucy began nodding off and did not immediately notice when her ship came to a complete stop.

A sound finally roused her from her dream of sunken treasure and future quests. It took her a few moments to fully awaken and realize she was under attack! Apparently she had stopped alongside one of those orc ships she had heard about and the orcs were less than pleased... or very pleased... she couldn't be sure which. She was losing life fast and was down to 17 hit points before she was finally able to steer her vessel out of range.

It was a truly unexpected adrenaline rush, and she made a mental note to herself... always put on the coffee pot before venturing out on the high seas and save the daydreaming for the safety of home. :)

Yes, the sea can be a very unforgiving place...

Lol - I did the same thing the other day reading and fishing - and when I looked up I was dead! Ran into 3 water eli's. Had the sound turned down so I didn't wake the family - use a head set now...
