Adjusting the hat on his head with a little jingle of the bells the nameless tamer set out with a grunt to find his pet. The overgrown handbag had only been out of sight for a moment, one would think something that size would be easy to track, but Not this time. He could not even find so much as a muddy print to suggest which way the beast had gone. That creature would be in serious trouble when he found him. Maybe putting out posters would help, better yet calling in the guards would work. The guards would be great so long as they didn’t feel the need to attack on sight. One never knows how to take strange animals wandering the streets unattended. Not too long ago even the rats were out of control, no telling what citizens would do with something a little bigger than a rat. No matter what the citizens thought, he had to get his pet back! They were friends after all, companions in travel through thick and thin. How could life ever be the same without the great beast? Shaking the negative thoughts from his head with a jingle of bells and a renewed vigor he continued the search.
