i use windows xp, new harddrive, installed uo 9th anniv. finished all the billions of patches, clicked "OK" and as soon as it loads the login screen it gives me a ultima online client error, the message window is the one where it askes if you want to send microsoft a report or not... i decided to reinstall, just in case but did nothing helpful...

ive been playing uo for about 10 yrs off and on and only had this problem twice, don't remember what i did you fix it... can anyone offer any advice?

i think i can help you. if this is a custom built computer then this will be a problem.
Sound drivers, on board or card wise, you have to have them. there is no error catch in the uo client for lack of sound when it calls for it to play turfing at login. UO WILL call for system sound. and if you don't have drivers it will crash. that all i can help you with. is this a home build? whats the mobo if it is.
