If I use a Hunter's Headress do I need to buy a 120 Archery scroll? Or does it automatically go to 120 without the powerscroll? Also if I have the 120 cap with full skill does that +20 archery carry over to make it 140? Thanks...!

Skills on items like Hunters headdress 'only' filling the gap between you actual skill and your max skill. Every point that would raise a skill above your cap has no effect. (So, if your already at gm archery you need a ps before the bonus from headdress gets apllied If you only apply a 115 ps to your char and your at GM only15 point will have an effect.)

The only exceptions are the Ancient Smith Hammers and Gloves of Mining, as the hammers are used for a higher exceptional craft chance and greater chance to succeed in an enhance, and the gloves to improve smelting chances.
