Last week I was cruising the Craftsman Forum and it was alluded to that bribes were cheaper in different places in one of the threads. The poster doesn't play here, however, so I didn't ask any questions. I think I was assuming that bribes would be cheapest in low priced faction towns

Did a test today/tonite. I awoke in Umbra, where I had earlier shopped, and went to the tailor with a 10/x/cloth/5 piece/lbod. Lady wanted 1100gp. Gated to Occlo where they wanted 500gp and then gated to Moonglow where they wanted 800gp. Anyone know whether this is pure randomness or whether towns like Occlo are always cheaper? Are there cheaper towns?

Appreciate any info. A week ago I inquired about bribing an agaptite lbod in Moonglow and the price was like 37-38k. If what I saw follows, the Occlo price might have been like 14k. Anyways thanks for any wisdoms that have been picked up regarding bribes.

it's based on how many bribes each individual tailor has done, multiple tailers in the shop each one may actually have a different price. Every time someone bribes one (the price isn't specific to you, it raises no matter who bribes him) his price goes up and it slowly decays over time, but it seems the decay is so slow the price will just continually rise for some time. I was going to upgrade some of my crappier small bods to be POF ones myself but the bribes after only a few bods were beyond the cost of just buying the POF.
