Here's my latest favorite thing:
mmmmm bout an average point stash id say
Thats a TON of points ! I guess u dont like the various colored dyes? Those change periodically with some not to be seen again. Just a thought but if u see any you like, mayb grab a couple w/ that horde of points before they're changed again and your left out. That's been my plan
I can pretty much guarantee your not gonna find anything on that rewards list worth 500-1m points so holding onto that many points just seems like your missing out on the neat colored dyes
I understand.... But I've never really cared that much about dyes (not sure why, just don't) - and wouldn't buy them for an "investment" on Pacific since I'm already rich enough to afford anything I really care about...
So, I'm gonna wait... But thx for your thoughts...
Ok, a slight confession. It's not really like I've never used any of the cleanup points since I started dumping 4 accounts worth of accumulated items that I really don't need more than one or two of (Holiday cards, etc...) I admit to having 2 Bard suits, 2 Fisherman suits (real disappointment there), a Mage suit, several Fire Pits, Zombie costume, Beehive, and a bunch of cheap stuff... And IMO the dyes are over priced....
I tell myself it's going into savings....
Being to log-in.
My tram castle, although on a very low pop shard it makes me smile. Also my 2 18x18 plots side by side at the crossroads on Siege. Housing makes me happy.

I hear ya'.... I love housing too....
Hearing the crash of waves and creaking of my fishing vessel outside my castle as I log-in every afternoon. =)
Having an old friend return and chat for a bit. Was sure nice to hear from him. *smiles*
Getting an awesome house... GMed my Imbuing!
Seeing a shard put on community events is what makes me smile!
Recently Napa has some cool stuff in the works! How many of you can joust?
Helping new players with whatever they need. Weather a house, a little gold, gear, hunting buddy. I feel we need to help the new players so this game can grow!
Admirable. More folks should be like that.
Along those lines I did smile not too long ago. I was helping a [young] player a few weeks ago. Hooked them up with some decent armor, a little gold, a few runes and then was going to fix the guy up with a armored swampy. But for some reason you can not xfer a pet to a [young] player. I could not help but scratch my head and smile while I wondered who thought giving a mount to a young player was something that needed to be stopped. Then I lol'ed at someone sitting in a meeting discussing how game breaking it would be to have young players on mounts *shrugs* .... guess I just have a weird sense of humor
Helping new/returning players is something I absolutely love to do.
I was helped two years ago, and once I got my crafter trained, I started to pay it forward at Legends.
Sorry I can't.... for some reason they don't think that having 120 archery makes you any good with a UBWS Lance. Archers are not any good at all with other weapons I guess. So trying to joust is a lose lose for me. Much as I'd like to... just don't seem to work. That's why they took away UBWS bows... Since none of you could figure out how to use one of those either.
When I'm decoing my castle I see a player go by makes me smile, and I say players do exsist.
( really rare that I see any player around my castle don't even see any of the home owners ever)
On GL's I haven't seen my neighbor in YEARS. Don't think he plays doubt he ever logs in.... the place is still decked out exactly as it has been since they day I first started going by the place before I owned the houses on either side of him... Nothing has changed in the least and I doubt it ever will... going on 4 or 5 years now I think and not once have I ever seen this person. Yet his house remains.
A rueful smile today. After several deaths to the Flame Elemental boss guardian peerless renowned guy in Shame in that awkward teleport bit; I jiggled my soulstones and swapped swords for macing so that I could bash him with my good old fashioned Fire Elemental slaying club.
After despatching him and taking his corrosive ash, I proudly went home and swapped my combat skills round again. Only I didn't. I wiped my mace fighting down to 11.3 from 120. And now that Flame Elemental boss guardian peerless renowned guy in Shame in that awkward teleport bit is laughing at me from beyond the grave. Forever.
ps Selling Whetstone.
holding a shame harry choke sat nite at 10 pm for an hour and a half on atlantic.
kicking the tar our of pits/pk/ld in despise last nite on chessy.
Seeing a red in Luna bank yesterday.
Mesanna circumnavigated another EA/Origin billing snafu, and castle is back in friend's name!
I'll be as brief as possible. I was watching a newbie today while he was running back and forth thru a Fire Field with an Ogre hot on his arss... (I was casting the fields for him, and he was battling away as his way of gaining swords, resist and fame all at the same time). However, he finally dispatched the Ogre and was standing there in the middle of the fire field looting or gloating, not sure which, when all of a sudden he was a ghost... He said he forgot about the field, and was very disappointed when he discovered that he'd lost whatever fame he had.... lmao...
Finally joined a guild ( OKOJ ) last night on Origin, cool bunch of people. Made me smile to know I have been accepted.

It wont happen for another 10 hours, but I get to place a house tonight that is right next to the city that one of my characters is going to run for Governor for in the next election.
I also have had some thoughts about a few contests (foot races, Jhelom FFA, sailing races, etc..) So hopefully I can get some of those going on....
OH! I also posted another chapter to my character's RP on the Napa Valley Forums. Napa Valley, come for the RP, stay for the Loot!
In the span of just a few minutes... I received the following 2 system messages..
"You have worn out your tool.." ... Attempting to repair armor before hunting.
"You Must wait an hour before you can get lucky again"... Getting ready to hunt & double clicked my luck statue.. (maybe not exact quote but I still laughed...)
I hit 96 fishing. Before THIS attempt at GMing it I have never made it past 70 before getting sick of it. Now I have a second monitor and a properly set up macro to run all night.
It's not really something in-game that made me smile. The past few months have been rough for me and I haven't had very much time to play UO. What's more, the computers in my room tend to add ten degrees of heat so when we're already dealing with triple digit summer temps, it makes it harder to sit still and play. Last night, however, it felt like the summer heat finally broke and we had our first cool pleasant autumn evening. At least that's it felt like and smelled like and that changing of the seasons recalled so forcefully memories of playing UO in the autumn that I hopped in-game and played all night long and had a blast.
That makes me smile.
Well said, sablestorm, well said.... Made me smile too.
I had a little issue with a thief on Siege a few days ago, it still make me smile. RP is a great thing and can solve alot of trouble you may run into.
You notice Henry Swift attempting to steal smith's hammer from you!
<1117873>Tina Tink: Henry, how do you want me to work now?
<21176693>Henry Swift: Now that raises an interesting question!
<1117873>Tina Tink: all will need my service if I can't work
<21176693>Henry Swift: I spose a person has to work, eh?
<21176693>Henry Swift: it just so happens i found a very nice hammer you could have
<1117873>Tina Tink: that sounds great
You see: Henry Swift Baron of Minoc
Tina Tink: hi sweety
Henry Swift: look at this amazing hammer!
Tina Tink: let me see it
Henry Swift: now this is a very fine hammer, as you can see
Tina Tink: yes that look as good as my old one
Henry Swift: *nods*
Tina Tink: what you want for it?
Henry Swift: they say a smith is only as good as her hammer
Tina Tink: yes that is true
Henry Swift: so then the question is really
Henry Swift: what will you offer?
Tina Tink: I have a bottle of strong akvavit but that may not ne enough
Henry Swift: hmmm
Tina Tink: danish
Henry Swift: i do love the akvavit
Henry Swift: are you perhaps a bowyer as well?
Tina Tink: I can be
Henry Swift: i tell ye what
Henry Swift: i know a young archer
Henry Swift: who may come see you about a bow
Tina Tink: he will be welcome
Henry Swift: i'll give you your hammer this time
Tina Tink: thanks
Henry Swift: in return for a favor in the future ^^
Tina Tink: sounds good
Tina Tink: Just call me
Henry Swift: ahh a very fine akvavit
Tina Tink: careful with the akvavit
Tina Tink: it is strong
Henry Swift: *nods*
Henry Swift: now i'm off to find a dank and smelly place to drink this hooch!
Tina Tink: just tell your friend to call me
Henry Swift: aye, that i will
Henry Swift: cheers all!
Tina Tink: be safe
Henry Swift: and you!
Henry Swift: *waves arms mysteriously*
Henry Swift: Farewell!
Tina Tink: *waves*
I haven't thought of Akvavit in a while! Now that has me thinking, it's a good idea for lunch, maybe with some food on the side...
Perhaps a nice Linje Aquavits with some fava beans on the side....
I'm happy that even when I take a break from this game and come back, there are still PLENTY of people to steal from.....
I smiled today after killing wyvern renowned like 30+ times over the last 3 days and finally getting tinker legs
