Can anyone give me some advice on resisting EQ effects, as in, getting revealed less? Will taking my stealth to 120 help?

It takes a while to cast earthquake. On the other hand, you can near insta-cast shadow jump. As soon as I see the earthquake or meteor storm power words overhead, I have plenty of time to shadow jump to safety.

If you avoid the damage, you avoid being revealed. That's probably better than putting 45 extra skill points into stealth. I'm not even sure that 120 stealth gives you a better chance of not being revealed, except with regards to detect hidden.

Your chance to be revealed when you take damage is decreased when you have more stealth. On one miracle occasion I surved 7 eq's. I only had like 5 hitpoints left and got away with a 120..something, for it. I dont think that could ever happen with less than 120 stealth though. I've also remained hidden all the way through poisons and stepping on traps.

Ultimately you still want to get away, and at least be offscreen when you take that little hit, but at 120 stealth, I dont panic anymore when I see the spell being casted.
