With great sadness we announce his passing from diabetic complications...

At this time arrangements are being made for an in game memorial service and a separate post will be made when information is received.

If you have a special in game memory of playing with him please feel free to share and if you see his characters in game it is his family taking care of things.
  2. We in HELP and its Alliance knew him and will miss him He was a grand, good UO player. He was whimsical, quirky and lots of fun. We are grateful we had the chance to know him ingame.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Vyr, we'll miss you. May the Good Lord comfort those who grieve for you. You'll be remembered by me as one tough warrior and it was always a pleasure to watch you fight.

I didn't know him but I got to see firsthand that he was a true fan and lover of UO. I actually cheap shotted him a few times in the Twisted Weald by luring Spite and Guile onto him as he came into the swamps as I was trying to do collect keys for Dreadhorn. He was there with the same intention and I got a little flustered by his presence and annoyed because I was there first.

Vyrquenox ended up solo'ing Dreadhorn once he gathered all the keys as I watched him from the otherside. I was impressed with his courage and he gained my respect for being able to do something I had not been able to...single handedly slay the evil unicorn.

I also saw Vyrquenox afterwards helping other players and my impression of Vyrquenox was that he is a stand up guy with alot of class. You could tell by his posts here on stratics he truly loved the game.

A sad time for UO. The world needs more people like Vyrquenox.

My condolences to his family, friends and love ones.:(
