UO Herald

Discussion in 'UHall' started by Lightningstrike, Dec 29, 2011.

  1. I have noticed that UO Herald's guild roster page has not been working for quite some time now. There is no way of telling anymore which are the top guilds in the respective shards. Also, we are no longer able to check and see what characters belong to what guilds. Does anyone know when and IF this issue is going to be adressed by UO Herald?

To the best of my very limited knowledge the pages were broken when they changed content management system. I don't know whether their current system is able to re-produce the way the character and guild records worked.
I know with our own CMS conversion things like the various combat and crafting calculators have so far had to remain on the old system because of some hard to surmount problems.

This will probably be fixed right after the people running the UOHerald learn how to use their own damn categories.

Click the "Patch Notes" button. What's the date on the last post correctly filed under that category? September 8, 2011. Nearly 4 months ago. But oh, wait, it doesn't have any actual information on the patch, such as its patch number.

So let's go back to the last post that at least has a patch number: April 20, 2011, over 8 months ago.

How about the one before that? March 24, 2011, and it's just a copy+paste of the Publish notes with patch notes attached. What were the patch numbers? No clue, because they refuse to tell us.
