I'm just wondering what are your thoughts on the newer addition of spellcasting skills, such as spellweaving, mysticism, in terms of its usefulness?

I have those skills trained and used on the chars from time to time, but eventually removed them to soulstone for now, because they dont seem to be "necessary" or of much advantage at all.

For PvM warrior, Chivalry is really all you need. For PvM mage, Magery is still the main skill for all type of spells. For PvM tamer, spellweaving's most spells have too long cool-down delay to be useful. And the investment in the skill points doesn't seem to justify the result.

But, of course, it's fun in terms of diversity.

Looking for opinions to persuade me

spell weaving is more of a support skill and i use it all the time cant even begin to count how many times it has helped me whether rezing me ,word of death opponent ,rejuvenation before battle etc
now mysticism combined with either focus or imbuing just rocks (still evaluating the new changes) from the colossus to healing stones, bombard , this skill could be used to almost replace magery (missing transport spells and curse etc but for a caster its my second choice for sure)

Spellweaving is one of my favorite skills(very useful on a number templates even if u just use JOAT). Mysticism i liked(after they droped it to 2 skills), though not overly happy about some of the changes. the sleep change was a definite downgrade

    Magery is still top dog.
Mysticism is getting to be really good and look forward to the changes (just wish it had some type of recall).

I like Spellweaving, but even with the focus 6 gem, there is still something about it that bothers me.
