What Skills Are Compatible With 4/6 and Chivalry?

    Hi All,

I have been toying with the idea of making a PVP template with 4/6 casting and Chivalry.... and.. something else that I haven't thought of yet.

I read a long time ago that having Magery above a certain level (85?) nullifies the 4/6 and caps it to 2/6.

Does the same apply for Necromancy?

    What about Spellweaving and Mysticism?

If anyone has anyone PVP template suggestions for a 4/6 Chiv {something} - (Holy Light Spam), please let me know as well.

    Thanks in advance!

55 Stealth (stack stealth skill items)

A very mana intensive template. You will have to have a very good suit and budget your mana use.

Will I miss the lack of 100 Anatomy? (55% base damage increase)

I was thinking of something like this (anti-PVP Archer template):

    Anatomy 100
    Tactics 100
    Chivalry 105
    Swords 120
    Meditation 100
    Parry 120
    Necro 75

    HP: 142
    Stam: 125
    Mana: 79 (elf)

    4/6 casting, shield-wearing, 70 DCI, 45 HCI, etc.

The Anat + Tactics gives me the decent bonuses to base damage (and mana reduction on special moves?).

Meditation keeps me mana-happy for Holy Light spam (and any mana vampires)

Main weapon -- I'm thinking of a Longsword for AI and conc. blow.

Lack of Resist will be supplemented by the usual Apple and Trap Box.

When poisoned, I figure I may be OK with 4/6 Cleanse By Fire.

Parrying gives me a few extra seconds of survival against an archer.

If I am disarmed, I figure an 8-second Blood Oath may scare off the Archer/Fencer.

I guess a more important question is, will the 75 Necro cause 4/6 chivalry spells to become 2/6?

    Thanks again.

Chiv 4/6: Close Wounds, Cleanse by Fire and especially Remove Curse. Holy Light too, but that's a situational spell.
-- With Bad karma: Close Wounds heals 25 damage, Cleanse by Fire fails a few times, and don't even bother trying to Remove Curse.

Weaving 4/6 Every spell needs FC, it's generally a slow spellcaster template.
Ninjitsu 4/6 Mirror Image, and perhaps Animal form? Casting Ninjitsu spells does not interfere with movement or attacks, so you could have Mirror image continually casting while fighting.
    Bushido 4/6 Quicker Evasion? dunno.

    Mysticism 2/6
    Necromancy 2/6
    Magery 2/6

having Magery above 70 (some where around there) caps Chiv to 2/6

IMO any template that requires u to wear a sheild is terrible.....especially for pvp

You can get to 4/6 without a shield. So whats the prob?
And i have many mages with shields as well its not a problem as long as you have your main hand free.

Well Vertex there is no quick solution to the PvP warrior dilemma as far as templates. All I know are my short comings.

    1. I know that I need Magic Resist. I've always had it on all my characters and can't get used to the trap box stuff.

    2. I need to be able to stack damage.

    3. I need a secondary healing/curing resolution

    4. I really need to build another gaming pc
