Seems kinda lame, another skill for mages only (I play a mage).
Isn't that the whole point of Enchant Weapon?? You will no longer Disarm that weapon when casting Magery / Mysticism spells.. (as long as your 80 / 80 skill)...
not to mention anyone that wields a weapon that does NOT have a hit spell on it cAn now add one temporarily to the weapon along with SC basicly you can take what was a 5 mod weapon
say ssi 30,di45,mage weapon(this could be something else)30 mana leech,20 hci,
then with enchant you now add in SC and lightning of 50 and have a 7 property weapon and if you have weaving you can also add emulate for 8 props!
my weaver/mystic/mage runs with a cyclone and a dagger like this!
Enchant isn't reliable for PvP, lasts a couple minutes and if you're disarmed the spell wears off.
It's worthless against anyone who can disarm.
And personally I think if Mystics have to have SC, they should get the benefits from Mage Weapon.
I just use this pvm probably would not work the best in pvp as miner said!
the only thing that bothers me with the imbued SC property is that you are double penalized for it....
meaning it has 1 property weight AND -1 fc...so effectively it costs 2.4 weight...because you have to make up that 1 fc somewhere as a mage....making it the most expensive property in the game....despite archers claim that balanced is....
if they insist on SC having the -1 fc for the imbued(not for dropped loot) property then they should at least make it 0 weight
imagine if balanced gave -20% swing speed...it would be silly....
hmmm on second thought.... perhaps I found a way to nerf archers!!

120 Spellweaving with lvl 6 focus
Attunement, Gift of Renewal, Stone Form, Cleansing Winds will keep me alive against 4 greater dragons. (I tested this theory)
Immolating Weapon + Enchant ( Adds SC and 60% Fireball to my Scimitar)
Go up to someone. Double Strike. Total of 72 Damage.
And of course I never run out of mana, so I can constantly spam specials and Mysticism spells.
At first glance its weak, but its really not. You just gotta be creative when it comes to using the skill. Mysticism needs to have the disarming factor when it comes to non sc weapons. Otherwise it just becomes a less evil necromancy.
Need imbuing for SC
actually they are changing it so you may use focus in place of imbuing !
No resist will be a total mana drain
essence of balance is like the easiest essence to get. i wonder if anyone is even saying it is expensive ... the thing about bows though is to get the best kind you really need to make one first and get some extra HCI etc then go from there, because DI on bow doesn't really matter when you can have 25 hci.
the expensive i was referring too in my post was not the expense of materials which are essentially free if you farm them yourselves.... i was referring to the expense in terms of the imbue weight of the property which is 150 weight
Naughty naughty! Someone didn't read the patch-notes or the whine threads about Focus needing a buff! They go hand and hand ya know! The whine threads are because Focus is going to work with full functionality with Mysticism!
*Grins* Mana drain me all they want. 120 med and 120 focus + 15 mr will let me regen that mana right back.
