In fel I get 1-3 SOT (depending on # of 105s).. in tram, I get only 1 every 10-15 spawns.
I was looking forward to slowly fleshing out some less-exciting skills with these, but now they seem to have completely vanished. I never quite understood the rational for putting these in Fel, but oh well.
Well, in all honestly this whole publish is been about PvP and fel. While there might be rewards now for the tram champ spawns this doesn't really amount to much. The spawns in fel are easier(risk lol) and the rewards are double. The number of spawn choices in fel guarantee that guild can pick and choose the rewards they want to acquire. Illshenar spawns are nothing short of a pain in the ass because of the jungle. Not so much the paragon but they are added fun.
This whole publish would be 100x better on the tram side if they added the champ spawns to T2A like they have them in fel. The 4 people that use T2A won't mind I promise.
That is a brilliant idea. Shoudn't take too long to copy and paste in the Fel Lost Lands locations into the Tram locations. Adding great long term content with minimal development cost. How about starting this as a new poll thread?
I would but I don't get the impression anyone that can wants to make this system any better. It was put in and there has been no feedback on anything posted in regards to changes to it.
I like this idea!
I wont address the lack of understanding about this game in some of the other posts but I don't see anything, anywhere saying the drop rate is lower in tram, only the intensities.
This week I had to take it Easy. Only 4 spawns in tram a day( all week) 7 days.
Each spawn from start to finish, oooh I got a sot in fact I got two sots for .2 and .4, that is it..............
THE ENTIRE (insert cuss words with hateful wrath )
Its broke, bugged. What ever it needs adjusted.
Its not broke, its not bugged, theres more people to get the SOT's!!!
My guild soes sfel and tram spawns and the amount dropped in each would probably amount to about the same (probs less in fel due to 105's) if you counted up how many sot's EVERYONE gets in ilsh!!
Your problem is that there are so many people farming the spawns in ilsh (how many have you 2-4manned??my guess 0)
Sorry to say this you are wrong, I have solo'ed 4 tram spawns in the last 2 days and solo'ed 2 fel spawns. i got 1 thats right 1 SoT. From what i was told is they are bugged right now. based on that and what i am seeing i would have to say yea they are bugged.
I have talked to guildies who have done over 20 spawns since they last got something and havent got a thing in the last 20+ spawns.
From the many people i spoke to, its all jus on the RNG.
People in ilsh get lots of scrolls and arty drops as do the people in fel.
Seems perfectly fine in my experience.(and the numerous other people i speak to)
If they do increase the drop rate i wont mind, will mean more money for the first few weeks.
First of all it's hardly worth getting them in tram. .2 healing? Please. Anyway, I get so many more in fel than I do in tram(solo) it's not even worth debating.
The only RNG I got stuck with was a 2 day stretch where I got 11 105 scrolls in a roll. 50% chance my ass. Random rewarding sucks.
What I hope this change doesn't turn into is another system that was nice in concept and lacking in design. It's already getting harder to finish spawns in tram when the zergs are fervent and the cams/scouts are running. I still find it funny when I see someone new say "That's it? I didn't get a thing" at the end of a spawn.
There needs to be some tweaking done to this system to make it more friendly. There should be a 10% per person chance to get a Tscroll upon death of the champ in tram. I know I know, the influx of .1 taste ID's will ruin the economy but people are losing interest in this system and the result is going to be that the only people taking advantage of it are the spawn guilds that would be doing the same thing had they not added anything in the first place.
Just as long as they find a place to make frenzied spawn, that's a great idea.
Whats the problem?
How can a person claim to have valid information as to drop rates on both facets if they havent obtained the info themselves? (obviously meaning that they must work both facets for quite some time to be able to make a legit estimate)
Using hearsay from random "guildmates" or "other people" is just plain nonsense no?
So assuming that everyone in this post has done the correct thing and obtained their own info for testing whats the problem? They farmed both facets so now they are free to farm whatever facet they believe gives the better drop.
End of story.
First there was no mention that fel spawns had a higher drop rate. Second, plenty of paying customers are not get the warm fuzzy feeling of actually getting something for their time spent spawning when they could be doing other things.
From my own personal experience the drop rate in fel is much much higher. The funny thing is the 105's should cut the drop rate in half with respect to actually Sot's gained and even with them in the picture I come home with 5x the sots from fel spawns.
The story is just beginning.
Not to mention it takes less than half the time to finish a champ in Fel as it does in Tram, yet the odds of getting one seem to be more than double in Fel, and of course, they're also higher intensity.
I've spent hours upon hours farming champs in the hopes of just getting SoT's, and to date I still have only received 1. That's pretty ****ty if you ask me, and not worth the time spent doing it.
I run fel almost totally but I have run quite a few of the tram ones myself and there does seem to be a fairly distinct difference between the two, however I have noticed that the SoTs drop more often at the lower level spawn than it does at the higher end spawn which is when all the people like to show up to to the tram spawns.
Thats why they should put the non-paragon champs in T2A which is what phantus suggested. I believe it wouldnt take too long to do, and PvMers would love it.
Conner try the Fell spawns.
While I have got lots in Trammel, in Fell I get way more and the higher intensities are a real perk.
Out of 20 or so champs spawns I've done (Tram side, mainly Oaks), I've only gotten a single .4 Magery SOT and a Djini's. I've increased my gold collection somewhat but I'd much rather have more instances of SOTs, etc. Oh well... I'll just have to keep tryin'.
Grind systems keep subscribers in the game longer, but say 20 champs/10 hours for just 1 SoT and 1 replica seems a bit extreme.
I've yet to finish a single Baracoon in Felucca,
and I have about 30 sot's and 3 Replicas.
I've probably started over 20 Despises from beginning to lvl 3 or 4.
Chew on that Trammies.
1) 1 replica per 20 spawns is not nearly extreme enough imo. The rate should of course still be random and maybe 1 in 50 at least.
2) If you dont want "extreme" dont participate in what was designed to be at the "extreme" end of Uo challenges. Champ spawns & Peerless are supposed to be 2 of the toughest endeavors in the game. Of course they should be frustrating & difficult.
Go farm Oni's for decent to very nice items if you dont want "extreme"
Or just pop another pill to help control your A.D.D. and resume play on your sisters Playstation.
I agree and peerless are so GD annoyingly easy!!!
Glad they made these hard to get stuff.
i am totaly for this also.
but then again i don't like PvP, let alone being forced to do it.
You dont have to PvP,
If you know your location and routes out(providing you arent pinging at 200averageish (Me that is btw)) you can just run the first time you see a red, let them take the spawn and leave.
rofl, the complaints here are really just misplaced. You hate the RNG, of course you do. In trammel, the RNG is everyones biggest enemy. It was in doom and it is at the spawns. Nothing changes in fel, just grass is always greener syndrome kicks in to the more closed minded anti-fel players.
A fine example of risk = reward. cry baby trammies always make me laugh.
depending on your shard you can run ALL the dungeons inlcuding all lost lands and work every spawn up IN FEL from level 1 to level 3 with one person as a holy light spammer or necro witherer (both with area affect weps) relatively fast even with only a 2 candle pop with no raiding guild show up. I have gotten close to 90 sot's in about 3 weeks of just solo work fooling around. It can be done just gotta take the time to do it.
