I have never understood, especially with Ultima Online increasing its lands (players more scattered all over meaning it is more difficult for them to find each other) and player base diminishing, why over the years, we almost reached 12 years of age for the game, a system for players logged online to sign each other up for group playing was never done, at least that I may know of. It would ease players to find other players doing some particular play. For example, say that I feel doing Doom; rather than going to Doom and wait who knows for how long without knowing whether or not eventually anyone else will show up there, I think it would be good for the game and for players that the game had some built in system (for example a board or a NPC to leave one's own availability...) where players could leave up their availability on doing specific things like Peerless, Doom or a number of other things which require a group of players to do (Arcane circles also). When a sufficient number of players sign up and show to the system as all online at the same one time the system sends a message to all of them saying to gather shortly to that place so that they can start their group hunt together. This way, players could use their time in a better way and do other things in the meanwhile that their group gets formed for that particular group hunt. Yes, there are Guilds and guild chats but not necessarily guild members may be online at the same one time one may want to do a given hunt, being able to play with the entire player base of the server rather than the limited number of a Guild gives more options to a player to be able to play that particular group hunt faster.
