World of WarCraft 2.4 - The Fury of the Sunwell Live!

    The long awaited new World of WarCraft Patch has been released onto Live servers today and brings the game version to 2.4. There of course is the typical bug fixes, UI improvements and other various small issues resolved, but this is a huge content patch! Some of the best content in the game is available in the game now, here's a quick rundown of some of the new content:
    • Sunwell Isle is a new questing hub with a new a new faction that combines both the Aldor and Scryer factions into the Shatterd Sun Offensive to take on the Burning Legion!
    • Magister's Tower, a new 5-man instance tuned for level 70 players with heroic and non-heroic modes with the final boss being Kael'thas Sunstrider, the King of the Blood Elves!
    • Sunwell Plateau, a new 25-man raid dungeon tuned for players who have completed the current raid content in the game (Mount Hyjal and Black Temple) this will wrap up the story of Burning Crusade with a final show down with the demon Kil'jaeden.
    • All new badge loot available from the Shatterd Sun Offensive with item levels close to Black Temple/Mount Hyjal quality gear.
    • A starter PvP set is now available for level 70 players with appropriate reputation with the various factions throughout Outland and is purchasable for under 100g.
    • Improvements to Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch
    • Dimishing returns on Honor for killing other players has been removed, you will no longer recieve honor from killing a player for than 50 times in one day.
    • Honor will be instantly calculated.
    • Daily quest cap has been raised to 25 quests, new world PvP quests have been added
