Greetings citizens of Yew, and friends of all realms.

Now that the threat on our lands by the filthy orcs has been repelled, our eyes and ears turn towards the seas surrounding Yew.

With piracy getting rampant around the world, and with the newly unveiled naval capabilities of the orcs, it has become a necessity to protect our shorelines. To this effect, I have deployed a fleet of several well armed ships to patrol around the city.

The last addition to this fleet, a britannian galleon, will be put to sea and set sail to fulfill its duty this monday, April 28th. Thanks to Governor Marcelus of Skara Brae, we will be allowed to use their portuary installations to do so.

All that wish to attend the event are most welcome to do so. After the traditional champane tossing, we will raise the anchor and cruise along the shore, headed towards Yew. Food ans refreshments will be served on board. Those who wish to bring their fishing poles will have the opportunity to show us their fishing skills along the way, and the largest Big Fish shall be granted with a trophy made with their catch as a souvenir.

I would advise to bring your spellbooks and favorite weapons, as a precaution. We never know what lurks on, or under the seas...

See you tomorrow, Monday April 28th, at 9pm, at the Skara Brae docks !

    Tehan, Governor of Yew.
