Class Consumables coming with the November Update.

All Classes – Bandages
“Bandages” can be used as both a reactive and preventative method of protecting oneself from injuries caused by falling.
Using a Bandage removes the movement-impairing injuries caused by falling and provides 60 minutes of immunity from them as well.  It’s important to note that these have no effect on item damage caused by falling. They also will not prevent death due to falling too far. This consumable is exclusive to the LOTRO Store.

Guardian – Overpower Tactics

Guardians now have access to leaflets that explain the intricacies of Overpower.  With a quick glance, “Overpower Tactics” provides new insight, allowing Guardians to be more effective while using Overpower.

Overpower Tactics reduces the cost of Melee skills and increases Critical Rating, while using Overpower, for 30 seconds. The “Overpower Tactics” leaflet is available at level 15, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

These leaflets can be crafted by Scholars, who can purchase the recipes from Guardian trainers as well as Novice and Expert Scholar trainers.

Hunter – Potion of Focus

Hunters now have access to a potent mixture of herbs that heightens their senses and focuses their minds.  These potions grant 7 Focus, as well as increased Devastating Critical Magnitude for up to 30 seconds.  These potions are available at level 15, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

These potions can be crafted by Scholars, who can purchase the recipes from Hunter trainers as well as Novice and Expert Scholar trainers.

Champion – Potion of Fervour
Champions will now be able to quickly renew their vigor by consuming a “Potion of Fervour.”  These potions grant 5 Fervour as well as increased Devastating Critical Magnitude for up to 30 seconds.  These potions are available at level 15, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Potions of Fervour can be crafted by Scholars, who can purchase the recipes from Champion trainers  as well as Novice and Expert Scholar trainers.

Minstrel – Sheet Music
With a quick refresher from their “Sheet Music,” Minstrels are able to remember the most complex compositions while under great duress.
Sheet Music prevents Induction Knockback on all skills, as well as reducing skill power costs by up to 50% for 10 seconds.  Sheet Music is available at level 20, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.
Sheet Music can be crafted by Scholars, who can purchase the recipes from Champion trainers as well as Novice and Expert Scholar trainers.

Warden – Hymns
The ancient tradition of immortalizing events through song is not lost on the battle-weary Wardens.  Through the singing of hymns, Wardens are able to rouse their spirits and exceed their physical limitations.  There are three types of hymns, each designed to enhance one of the three Gambit specializations.
Warden’s Hymns can be crafted by Woodworkers, who can purchase the recipes from Warden trainers as well as Novice and Expert Woodworker trainers.

Battle Hymns

“Battle Hymns” remove the power cost of Gambit Builders and increase the damage of all Spear Gambits by 5% for up to 20 seconds.  Battle Hymns are available at level 25, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Rallying Hymns
“Rallying Hymns” remove the power cost of Gambit Builders and increase the damage of all Fist Gambits by 10% for up to 20 seconds.  Rallying Hymns are available at level 25, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Soothing Hymns
“Soothing Hymns” remove the power cost of Gambit Builders and increase the healing of all Shield Gambits by 5% for up to 20 seconds.  Soothing Hymns are available at level 25, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Rune-keeper – Infused Parchments
By inscribing runes on parchment infused with ancient power a Rune-keeper is able to access certain skills regardless of their current attunement.
“Infused Parchments” can be crafted by Scholars, who can purchase the recipes from Rune-keeper trainers as well as Novice and Expert Scholar trainers.

Dagor Infused Parchment

“Dagor Infused Parchment” removes the attunement requirement of Scathing Mockery, enabling its use even while attuned for Healing.  These parchments also increase the Rune-keeper’s Spell Penetration, increasing their chance to penetrate the target’s defences.   Dagor Infused Parchments are available at level 25, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Nestad Infused Parchment
“Nestad Infused Parchment” removes the attunement requirement of Epic for the Ages, enabling its use even while attuned for Battle.  These parchments also increase the Rune-keeper’s Tactical Healing, increasing the overall effectiveness of the Rune-keeper’s heal skills.   Nestad Infused Parchments are available at level 20, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Lore-master – Pet Foods
With this update Lore-masters will be receiving additional pet foods designed to enhance the unique qualities of each of their companions.

All pet foods can be crafted by Cooks, who can purchase the recipes from Lore-master trainers as well as Novice and Expert Cook trainers.

Bags of Crumbs

For the Lore-master’s avian companions, we have the “Bag of Crumbs.”  This food grants increased Fire, Shadow, Acid, or Frost Defence, Melee Offence Rating, and Evade Rating for 10 minutes.  This food becomes available at level 15, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Cuts of Meat
To satiate the hunger of the Lore-master’s feline companions, we have “Cuts of Meat.”  This food grants increased Fire, Shadow, Acid, or Frost Defence, Melee Critical Rating, and Melee Defence Rating for 10 minutes.    This food becomes available at level 35, with more potent versions available every 5 levels.

Bowls of Water
“Bowls of Water” can now be given to Bog-Guardians to satisfy their thirst.  This food increases their Fire, Shadow, Acid, or Frost Defence, Ranged Offence Rating, and Maximum Power for 10 minutes. This food becomes available at level 58, with more potent versions available at levels 60 and 65.

Burglar – Thrown Weapons

Two new throwing weapons will be added to the Burglar’s arsenal to aid in both solo and fellowship play.

These throwing weapons can be crafted by Weaponsmiths who can purchase the recipes from Burglar trainers as well as Novice and Expert Weaponsmith trainers.

Serrated Knives

These potent blades are ideal for weakening the resolve of a tough opponent.  When thrown at a target currently under the effects of Burglar’s Trick, the serrated knife removes a Corruption by consuming the Trick.  It’s best to keep the highest level of these knives on you as they are most effective against targets of equal or lesser level.

Serrated Knives first become available at level 10, with a more potent version available every 5 levels.

Throwing Hatchet
With increased range and high critical chance, the Burglar’s throwing hatchet is ideal for pulling targets and doing damage from a safe distance.
With a range of 40 meters, Ancient Dwarf-make damage, and a 40% chance to critically hit, this is a weapon no Burglar should be without!
“Throwing Hatchets” first become available at level 10, with a more potent version available every 5 levels.

Captain – Battle Tonic and Blazoned Crests
With this update Captains will be receiving their first set of class consumables including “Battle Tonics” for enhancing themselves and “Blazoned Crests” for buffing their Heralds.

Battle Tonics can be crafted by Scholars who can purchase the recipes from Captain trainers as well as Novice and Expert Scholar trainers.

Blazoned Crests are crafted by Woodworkers who can purchase the recipes from Captain trainers as well as Novice and Expert Woodworker trainer.

Battle Tonics

These potent potables reinvigorate a Captain, allowing them to instantly enter the Battle-ready state and reducing the power costs of their skills by up to 40% for 10s.

These tonics become available at level 25 with a more potent version available every 5 levels.

Blazed Crest of War
By adorning their banner with the “Blazed Crest of War,” a Captain can rally their Herald, making them a more effective melee combatant.  This consumable provides a buff that increases the Herald’s Melee Offense Rating and Maximum Morale for 10 minutes.

Blazed Crest of Victory
By adorning their banner with the “Blazed Crest of Victory,” a Captain can inspire their Herald, making them a more effective tank.  This consumable allows your Herald to more effectively generate Threat and increases their maximum Morale for 10 minutes.

Blazed Crest of Hope
By adorning their banner with the “Blazed Crest of Hope,” a Captain can rouse the spirit of their Herald, making them a more effective healer.  This consumable provides a buff that increases the Herald’s outgoing Healing and Maximum Power for 10 minutes.

Blazed Crest of Focus
By adorning their banner with the “Blazed Crest of Focus,” a Captain can heighten the senses of his Herald, making them a more effective ranged combatant.  This consumable provides a buff that increases the Herald’s Ranged Offense Rating and Ranged Critical Rating for 10 minutes.
